Honra às mães

A cada lado do portão vemos uma comitiva de anjos e, ao por ele passarmos, Jesus diz: “Vinde, benditos de Meu Pai, possuí por herança o reino que vos está preparado desde a fundação do mundo.” Mateus 25:34. Aqui Ele nos diz que somos participantes de Sua alegria. E qual é? É a satisfação de ver o trabalho de vossa alma, pais! É a alegria de ver que os vossos esforços, mães, foram recompensados! Aí estão os vossos filhos; a coroa da vida está sobre suas cabeças, e os anjos de Deus imortalizam o nome das mães cujos esforços ganharam os filhos para Jesus Cristo. — Manuscrito 12, 1895. And what do we see then? Oh, we see a retinue of angels on either side of the gate, and as we pass in, Jesus speaks, “Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom that is prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” [Matthew 25:34.] Here He tells you to be a partaker of His joy, and what is that? It is the joy of seeing of the travail of your soul, fathers. It is the joy of seeing that your efforts, mothers, are rewarded. Here are your children; the crown of life is upon their heads, and the angels of God immortalize the name of the mothers whose efforts have won their children to Jesus Christ. Ms 12, 1895
